Join us in beautiful Steamboat Springs, Colorado on June 27th-30th, 2024 for a wonderful all-inclusive weekend to bring the Colorado women's jiu jitsu community together. We want to not only showcase some of the talented black belts local to Colorado, but also bring in high level talent to share their knowledge and experiences as well!

Tessa Neely
Tessa Neely is a jiu jitsu black belt under Matt Jubera at Jubera Jiu Jitsu in Broomfield, Colorado. Although Tessa is a featherweight, she uses heavy pressure to dominate top position. She is an IBJJF Gi Pan American Champion and multiple time Master World medalist. We are excited for Tessa to show her game to us during her Gi seminar at our retreat!
Charlee Minkin
Charlee Minkin is a jiu jitsu and Judo black belt as well as owner and coach at The Sanctuary in Lakewood, Colorado. She started judo when she was five years old and made her first Jr World team when she was fourteen, which were held in Porto, Portugal. When Minkin turned 17 years old, she moved to the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs to pursue her dream of making an Olympic Team. While at the Olympic Training Center, Charlee trained under Olympic Bronze medalist and head coach, Ed Liddie, and competed around the world for several years. Charlee was on the 2004 Olympic Team, a 2x World Team member, 2x silver medalist at the Pan American Games and gold medalist at the Pan American Championships. We are excited for her to share her technique during her Judo seminar at our retreat!
Vanessa Waltz
Vanessa Waltz is a jiu jitsu black belt and school owner in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She has two decades of jiu jitsu and is still an eager student! She is a mother of two, bookworm, dancer, lover of anime and nature. Vanessa is a IBBJF 3x NoGi World champion, 2x Pan American champion, Gi Master World champion, 5x American Nationals champion, 4x competitor of the year, 2x adult black belt NoGi Pan American medalist, and F2W Pro brown belt title holder. We cannot wait for her to teach a NoGi seminar at the retreat!
Lyzz Mitrovic
Elizabeth Mitrovic is a jiu jitsu black belt at Precision Jiu Jitsu Academy in Citrus Heights, California. In 2023 alone, she was IBBJF NoGi World champion, Gi Master World champion, NoGi Pan champion, NoGi European champion, NoGi American Nationals champion, and Arte Suave 170 champion. We cannot wait for her to show her game winning strategies during a Gi seminar at our retreat!
Nikki Sullivan
Nikki Sullivan is a jiu jitsu black belt under André Galvão and currently trains and teaches at 50/50 under Ryan Hall in Falls Church, Virginia. She is an IBBJF NoGi World champion, NoGi Master World champion, 2x American Nationals champion, and a 2x ADCC trials finalist. Nikki is known for the creation of the "Panda Guard" and we are ecstatic for her to teach a NoGi seminar at this years retreat!
